On May 15, our organisation in Latvia officially changed its name from <strong>Ronald McDonald House Charities Latvia<\/strong> to <strong>Ronald McDonald M\u0101ja Latvij\u0101.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This rebranding took place at the same time as the name change of the global Ronald McDonald House organisation. As part of these changes, the organisation\u2019s new name is being adapted and translated into the local language in each country, while maintaining a unified international identity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although our name and visual identity have changed, the essence of our work and our values remain the same. We continue to work to ensure that children in Latvia have access to timely, high-quality healthcare, regardless of where they live or their families\u2019 financial circumstances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our work is based on care, accessibility, collaboration, and support for families. We believe that healthcare for children should be accessible closer to home and that no child should be denied necessary healthcare due to distance or a lack of specialists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1000\" src=\"https:\/\/ronaldmcdonaldmajalatvija.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/15.-maijs-pedeja-bilde-beigas.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6627\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ronaldmcdonaldmajalatvija.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/15.-maijs-pedeja-bilde-beigas.jpg 1500w, https:\/\/ronaldmcdonaldmajalatvija.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/15.-maijs-pedeja-bilde-beigas-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/ronaldmcdonaldmajalatvija.lv\/wp-content\/uploads\/15.-maijs-pedeja-bilde-beigas-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main program of Ronald McDonald M\u0101ja Latvij\u0101 is the \u201cChildren\u2019s Care Mobile,\u201d through which we travel throughout Latvia in collaboration with doctors and specialists from the Children\u2019s Clinical University Hospital.
