And it\u2019s more than just a new name. This single word encapsulates the story of who we are, what we do, and why we set out every day to visit children throughout Latvia.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Labusi\u0146\u0161?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The name came about quite naturally, by combining two essential aspects of our work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cLab\u201d<\/strong> symbolises our work as a charitable organisation and our desire to do good for the children and families of Latvia. <strong>The \u201cbusi\u0146\u0161,\u201d<\/strong> meanwhile, is an integral part of our daily operations; it regularly travels to cities and regions across Latvia to ensure that children have access to the healthcare they need closer to where they live. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that&#8217;s how <strong>Labusi\u0146\u0161<\/strong> came to be <strong>\u2014a little bus that sets out on a journey to do good.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On the Way to Children Across Latvia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mission of the \u201cChildren\u2019s Care Mobile\u201d remains unchanged. We continue to provide free consultations with various pediatric specialists in areas where access is limited and where, for families, the journey to see the necessary specialist often involves long distances, extra time, and expenses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Labusi\u0146\u0161 goes wherever it is needed to help bring healthcare closer to children and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s not just a place where a child sees a doctor. It\u2019s a place where parents can get expert advice and clarity on the next steps, while children can receive the help they need closer to home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Labusi\u0146\u0161&#8221; is more than just a term of endearment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this new nickname, we want to further highlight the essence of the \u201cChildren\u2019s Health Bus,\u201d which is to be there for children and families when they need healthcare support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So from now on, whenever you see Labusi\u0146\u0161 on the roads of Latvia or in your town, know that it\u2019s on its way to visit the children again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Labusi\u0146\u0161: doing good on the way to children<\/strong>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our \u201cChildren\u2019s Care Mobile\u201d has a new nickname: Labusi\u0146\u0161.
