Our Team

Our strength lies in our people—experienced and caring healthcare professionals who help children throughout Latvia with care and responsibility.

The Ronald McDonald House in Latvia is staffed by a team of highly qualified specialists, including doctors from the Children’s Clinical University Hospital (BKUS), who provide the highest level of medical expertise and experience, as well as an administrative team that ensures the program’s operation and development.

Together, we are working to ensure that children throughout Latvia have access to high-quality and timely health care.

Executive Director / Board Member

Guna leads the Ronald McDonald House charity in Latvia and oversees the development of the “Children’s Health Bus” program, ensuring its sustainability and impact throughout Latvia. Under her leadership, access to healthcare for children is being strengthened, especially in regions where it is most needed.

Diāna Niedra

Administrator of the “Children’s Health Bus” Program / Board Member

Diāna oversees the day-to-day operations of the “Children’s Health Bus” program and coordinates its visits throughout Latvia. Her work helps bring specialists closer to families, ensuring high-quality and timely care for children.

Mary Phoebe Moore

Communications Specialist

Marija oversees the organization’s communications, sharing information about the work of the “Children’s Health Bus” program and its impact on children’s health. She builds relationships with the public and partners, promoting awareness of the importance of access to healthcare.

Together for Children's Health

As part of the “Children’s Health Bus” program, specialists regularly travel throughout Latvia to provide care closer to families.

2025. In that year, the Children’s Health Bus made 114 trips to 60 locations in Latvia, providing 5,195 medical consultations to 4,032 children.

Our team’s work goes beyond consultation—it is an investment in children’s futures. By ensuring accessible healthcare in the regions, we help identify and address health issues early on, reducing the risk of serious consequences in the future.

We believe that every child in Latvia has the right to quality health care—regardless of where they live.
