For several years now, the start of July has been marked by the Ronald McDonald Māja Latvijā team’s participation in the U.S. Independence Day Picnic, organised by AmCham Latvia, which brings together business leaders, partners, and the community to celebrate and support charitable initiatives.
One of the event’s traditions is a charity raffle in which every participant can take part to support organisations that care for children and families in Latvia.
This year, thanks to AmCham Latvia and the generosity of the event’s participants, 1,780 EUR was donated to the “Children’s Care Mobile” program.
The donation received will help ensure that children in Latvia’s regions have the opportunity to receive the necessary consultations with medical specialists closer to where they live, thereby reducing inequalities in access to healthcare.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to AmCham Latvia, the event organisers, and every participant for their responsiveness and support. Partnerships like this demonstrate that by working together, we can bring about meaningful change in children’s healthcare in Latvia.
